Andrea Valentin has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry and is currently the VP of Bank & Risk Operations at FSV Payment Systems, Inc. in Jacksonville where she oversees the company’s fraud management and operational compliance team. She has a BA in accounting from the University of Central Florida and a MBA in Economic Crime and Fraud Management from Utica College. Andrea’s case, Small Town Boys, appears in Joseph Wells’ “Internet Fraud Casebook: The World Wide Web of Deceit”.

Technical expertise in applying Actimize model development and configuration involving AIS,RCM configuration, custom plug-ins, enhancements, trade surveillance, fraud detection, control room models, BSA/AML, KYC/CDD initiatives, digital currencies, digital economies, laws, statutes, rules, regulations and policies or filings in the areas of financial management, budgeting, operational management, investigations and grants management.

Joy Bossardet

Joy Bossardet has over 6 years’ experience investigating corporate, charity, and intellectual property fraud, and is currently the Brand Specialist for Wounded Warrior Project. Previously, Joy worked for Interline Brands as a Fraud Analyst. She attended University of North Florida, studying communications, and received her AA from Florida State College at Jacksonville, where she is currently obtaining her BAS in Public Safety Management. In 2013, Joy was a contributing writer for Unreality Magazine, and co-founded Watchword Communication/The Writers Core, a professional communications firm specializing in grant proposals for small business. Joy obtained her CFE designation in 2016, and is experienced in intellectual property management, public relations, and social media management.
